I ran the SHAPE Women’s Half Marathon NYC last Sunday! The race was so inspiring–a wave of sweaty pink shirts took over Central Park. Talk about women’s empowerment.💖
Did you know approximately 25% of runners (in a race) are women? And of the 25% running, around 60% of those racers will finish the race? So, to witness a sea of 10,000 empowered, pink-shirted women supporting each other through Central Park was absolutely phenomenal! I loved connecting with y’all on IG (@iamemilynolan) before and after the race, swapping race stories and brunch details.👈🏻 Very important detail. 🥞 🥑 🥓

In case you’re wondering if I ate pizza or bagels after the race…we went to John’s on Bleeker🍕, took a long cat nap and went back out to Breads Bakery for the best chocolate Babka and hot coffee! Thanks for all your recommendations and cheers on Instagram!
