This post is sponsored by Nature’s Way. I’m excited to be partnering with the brand to celebrate its 50th birthday! Since 1969, Nature’s Way has been helping people live their best lives through the gifts of nature.

As summer closes out, and my family departs the beautiful beaches of North Carolina (NC) back for Miami (heading back to summer!), I had to get in one last hurrah with my close NC girlfriends.

As a celebration of Nature’s Way turning 50 this year, they gifted me and my close gfs a wellness day on the beach! We got to say goodbye to the summer sun together with a beautiful, deep yoga flow and singing bowls as sound therapy.

These days, I’m really into yoga that’s not your typical power vinyasa flow. I asked the instructor, Meghan, (yes, Nature’s Way spoiled us by hiring a private instructor so I got to practice myself!) to focus on movement and stillness that cultivates compassion for ourselves and others. Man did She nail it! I felt so buzzed after our practice.

The singing bowls were incredible! She played them over our heads and moved them around from ear to ear–it was surreal and absolutely a form of therapy. Have you ever heard singing bowls played before? Or crystal bowls? I love them both because they have the ability to change my energy into a calm or energizing state.

Did I wait this long to mention that we all took an ocean dip together after our practice? I longed for that fun, playful connection with my girlfriends. We laughed and swam without needing to care for anyone but ourselves, for the moment! It was bliss for most of us who are full-time caregivers to babies or family members.

Nature’s Way also sent gifts for me and all of my girlfriends in the form of some of my favorite products: Fortify Women’s 30 Billion probiotics with prebiotic, Alive! Hair, Skin & Nails gummies, MCT oil, Chlorofresh drops, Ashwagandha, and Zen essential oils. I wish I could send this goodie bag to all of you, too, because it’s just so great!

Here’s how I use each of these products: First, the Alive! Premium Hair, Skin & Nail Gummies with Collagen are my morning staple that helps with healthy, rejuvenated  skin throughout the day.*

I take Fortify Women’s Probiotic with Prebiotics on days when I know I’m not going to get full servings of food with probiotics or probiotics in them. A great example is travel days. Some people take these every day, and you can, especially if your diet is not very nutritious (which in my opinion, requires a bit of radical honesty and further questioning as to why you’re blocking yourself from the compassion you’re worthy of).

Next up, Multi Chain Triglyceride (MCT) oil which is made from coconut oil! I use the on-the-go packets when I travel, and pour them in my hot tea. These travel packs are great options for me when I’m finding fruit in the airport and want to pair the sugar with a nutritious fat (MCT oil) to satisfy my hunger levels and fuel my brain and body.*

Ashwagandha! A mouthful for those of us who are unfamiliar with this root and its stress reducing potential.*My first two choices in stress reduction is rest and meditation on the reg. My third line of defense is a daily Ashwagandha supplement. I don’t take these all the time, but if I feel the stress levels rising in my body, I’ll start to incorporate them back into my lifestyle plan.* The same goes for most supplements in my life, except my parental. I use them as my body and lifestyle demands change.

Chlorofresh drops are great used as a natural mouth “deodorant.”* Instead of reaching for a stick of gum, adding drops of Chlorophyll to water and drinking it–or rinsing and spitting–does the minty trick for me.

Thank you to Hank Carter Photography for the jaw-dropping drone photos of us practicing yoga on the beach!
